Course reviews
Chris Rose EnglandExcellent session. Particularly useful to have this when not using a scrum machine. Clearly delivered session with concise relevant coaching points.
mark albiston New Zealandloved not using the scrum machine. great for younger players not having to use whole scrum.
Sam Cairns New ZealandGreat clip enjoyed 4 vs 3
Edwin Silkstone EnglandAn excellent coaching session to demonstrate the importance of creating the optimum body position, then using this template to build up the scrum using a small group off players in various contesting combinations.
Kerry Lewis New ZealandGreat modules for younger players, and when numbers are low. Technical aspects are apparent.
Clayton Saunders EnglandGreat video in regards to body angles & position. However, It is very difficult to chase your feet under pressure. Not to mention the energy that is being used. Most of the time it is the chasing that unstables a scrum. Personally, I ask all eight to load the spring, and united we extend, and hold. In that time our hooker should have striked the ball back to the No.8. The human bodies strongest position is when it is straight. Ounce for ounce, bone is stronger than steel. Fatigued muscles, result in a tired player. Still a great watch. I have just never understood the need for chasing? I prefer my players to save their energy for dominating one on one contact.
Liam Colgan IrelandReally good video. Some great pointers for coaches to apply even if you don’t have a full pack to work with.
Ash Morris Great Britain & Northern Irelandexcellent progression and clear, just what you need.
Steve Botha South AfricaI liked the progression to make it more realistic.
Paul Goss EnglandGreat video, simp!e clear progression to build a stable strong scrum
Lawrence Tikaram FijiAwesome basic key elements for continued intensity resulting in strong scrums
Zachary Webb EnglandVery useful. Nice layout and progression
Carter Croft EnglandVery good, working with smaller groups, one can cover all aspects of scrummaging.
