I would like to see some coaching with regard to the role of other players in the lineout. All coaching is focussed on the jumpers but what about the maul after the all leaves the line of touch, or the long throw or the last person in the line’s role when the ball is lost and the defensive players attacking the ball carrier or 9 after the ball is out? Thanks
Victor Matfield shares with you the technical and tactical lineout skills he has developed over his playing and coaching career. “The most important thing in a lineout is that you do your basics right and then its like a chess game, when do you make what call”
