Attack and Defence Shape - Modified Games - All - The Rugby Site's Rugby Drills

Randwick Academy coaches Adam Baker and James Tesoriero present two attack and defence shape modified games.

The games are suitable for all ages, skill levels and formats of the game.

The games are competitive, fun and provide plenty of opportunity for coaches to vary to include skills and decision making.

Adam Baker (Game Development Manager for Randwick Junior Rugby) provides the cues and game modifications for the players to understand the key components and develop the skills to shape your Attack and Defence.

As Adam presents, the game:

Randwick’s (Sydney, Australia) Colts coach James Tesoriero expertly replicates, via a fun modified game, the ‘chaos’ of turnover rugby. James manages to also incorporate players’ core skills required to execute the Attack.

Like last week’s game, this game:

- is competitive and fun.
- is easy to deliver.
- only requires a ball and some bibs.
- can be played anytime, anywhere.
- can be managed and shaped to fit the skill level, and understanding, of your – players.
