Part 6 – Building run, catch, pass into a basic structure is a fantastic introduction to some game-shape. I coach an U12 team and EVERY SINGLE GAME, we get two lines of players across the pitch passing the ball sideways, pretty much standing still. Despite focussing on lines of running and depth (staggered departures), this is how the games all end up. Building on the structures shown in this video will hopefully break this up and create space at last !
