Principles of Attack (Game Sense) - All
with Wayne Smith
Who are you going to attack? Why are you going to attack them? How should you go about it? Research says that a lot of our champions have great game sense through playing games and being involved in game like situations at training. I believe games help make sense of rugby.

This is one of the best video on this site. Learning to read what is in-front of you, then not only deciding when to attack but how. The best players in rugby are those who have a fluent reading of the game and directing his or her team to manipulate the opposite side to make then confused so they we can score tries. Thanks Smith fo your years of service to the best game in the WORLD.
Excellent video emphasising how small adjustments to old habits will bring rewards. Clearly a good developmental session, increasing the players understanding of what and why
mr ratana
like how he begins it static and build it up for the players great, simple, effective session
Just noticed there is a young Lima Sopoaga in this video, our current #10 All Black (Sep 2017)
Ces exercices sont performants
great coaching videos
It is taking forever for these videos to start playing. What is the issue?
Los felicito THE RUGBY SITE !!!
Very well presented. Good use of questioning throughout the session. The use of games to enhance technical and tactical skills is just excellent.
Another excellent well presented module by Wayne, so easy to listen to. Best in the business.
Muy bueno me sirve mucho , aqui en lima peru
Again I find Wayne’s coaching methods excellent, gets players interestedand thinking the game. Thanks
Pude verlo correctamente subtitulado hasta el final. Saludos y muchas gracias!
buenisimo a ponerlo en practica,y esperar resultados!
A very good but long session. I will endeavour to use it but cherry picking parts and games to suit my team and skill set.
common sense again by Wayne.
Hi, the video hasn’t come up so unable to watch
This blew my mind a little. Question though: This is great for my select side, but how early is too early to run through this? I’ve got U11s coming and my guess, they’d be alright…
MUY BUENO PARA APLICAR EN CHICO PARA QUE PUEDAN DESARROLLAR LA CAPACIDAD DE ACCION EN EL JUEGO
Watched this three times. It is magic to see order develop from the chaos. Also admire the laid approach.
Love the approach & methodology – TGfU/Query Theory well exampled and great use of questioning. Regardless of WS knowledge & experience the impressive thing (as far as we can see/hear/observe) here are the teaching skills! How d’you go with a poorly motivated class/group? Even better I would expect! Play, play, play! Thanks for not going to the ‘shadowy bunch’! Cofion Cynnes Huw
Very Basic – However these skills are rarely on show in professional rugby! I found these extremely useful in terms of reinforcing the importance of the basics of the game.
there’s a lot to think about from Smithie – some good nuggets – a few teams would have done well to see this b4 the RWC haha
