In this video I’ll take you through the learning process I believe in and coach for the scrum. These activities are scrum machine based. We begin by checking individual set up position then move onto the engagement process. Firstly individually to make sure they are all doing it correctly. Then into modules e.g Locks and number 8, and finally we put it all together as a pack.

Roger C Croft — FranceMike is such an expert, impacting technical knowledge, he just loves what he does. He is inspirational. I have been lucky enough to be at a live session with him.
John Hobbis Harris — EnglandI followed Mike Cron for a few years, his simple but detailed scrummage processes, dealing with the individual balance and techniques on engagement are second to non. He coaches the ALL Blacks so he knows his stuff would live to get him to mentor me as a forwards coach. Keep them coming Mike.
Philip — CanadaI would love to hear Mr. Cron on his advice regarding the present scrum engagement…..what changes he would make and include binding to opposition. Thank you
michael grainger — Great Britain & Northern IrelandSmashing advice, really enjoyed it
Andrew jones — WalesIt’s a shame I can’t share this video with all my forwards due to the sharing limitations!!!
Terence Gilmour — EnglandLearning all the time..Thank you Mike

Vicki Hudson — USAUseful for body individual body positioning. Outdated with the engagement process under current law. Would like to see an up to date version.

Tutekohi Nikora — AustraliaMike Cron, that was excellent viewing! your explanations about body positioning and technique were clear and very easy to follow
Piet Faasen — South AfricaMike Cron`s got the nack to bring the finer points of scrum technique over to players and coaches in his own unique way. A must for coaches and players to sharpen their technique.
Andrew Dacey — WalesSimple but extremely effective, Mike Cron is an excellent analyst who spots technical failings immeadiatly correcting players with aplomb. All players buying into his coaching….fantastic
kevin Appleton — EnglandBrilliant , now mike is all blacks forward coach I hope we will get a chance to get his take on the break down in a video, and if his scrum shape techniques transfer into this area.

Jonathan Traynor — IrelandAnything from Mike Cron, I have always been a huge fan of. I hope that there will be a number of videos on how he progresses sessions without the scrum machine. The PDF doesn’t work.
Luis Canongia Costa — PortugalGreat stuff! Solve the odf problem!
Ian Gould — Great Britain & Northern IrelandSome excellent points in here, very clearly explained with lots of stuff that I can transfer into my own coaching. However the link for the PDF file doesn’t work?
