Developing Transition Attack - Modified Games - All with Stuart Woodhouse
This week we return to Australia and visit The King’s School in Sydney’s west for a new Modified Games series.
We start the series by getting an insight into what makes the 600 player, 30 team, 70 coach program successful.
Yes, player numbers, coaching and financial resources can bring competition success but culture and experience are key to the rugby enjoyment and long term love of the game.

Square up the defender and preserve the outside space
is the objective of this Overload Ruck Touch game.
It is a simple game to play with plenty of possible modifications.
However, as coaches it is the focus on skill execution and transition decision making on both sides of the ball that makes the game useful as The King’s School Director of Coaching Stu Woodhouse demonstrates in his management of the game with his U15 players.
