Coming Soon - Mike Friday: 7s Contact Skills (Tackle breakdown & Clear Out) Posted about 11 years ago

Mike Friday and the Kenya 7s team go through a session on contact skills. This includes skills designed to buy time in the tackle for support players and making the correct decision based on the breakdown situation. Here’s what Mike says;

“I can’t emphasize enough how important it is that your players are both accurate in the contact area and also very clear in the decision making process that they are faced with.

If you do that, more often than not you’ll control the ball which gives you a better chance of winning the game."
